you make my mind blurr

sideways glance, im awkward

discombobulated at work

head down, under pressure

blushing with a small smirk

it was exhaustingly busy,

the place in a craze,

i stumbled through orders

my mind in a haze.

i felt like i was drowning,

stuck sinking for days

running through drinks

a six hour maze,

people stared unsatisfied

then out of nowhere,

you appeared by my side.

your presence so subtle,

it steadied my breath,

a quiet assurance that

spared me from stress.

i caught a small glimpse

of your comforting grin,

while i felt like death,

i really tried to hold it in.

bottles were clinking,

the customers loud,

yet you slipped through the hustle,

parting the crowd.

coworkers watching,

eyes filled with doubt,

but yours, even now

will make mind blurr
